Explain with schematic diagram direct distribution of solar energy:

Solar energy reaching earth’s surface consists of two components: i) Direct solar energy, ii) Diffused solar energy. Direct solar energy is the energy reaching earth’s surface with the Sun’s beam. The Sun’s beam has high heat content. Solar radiation that has not been absorbed or scattered and reaches the ground directly from the Sun is called Direct radiation or beam radiation. It is very intense radiation and it can produce sun burns and shadows.
