i. Sensitivity: The ratio of change in output of an instrument to the change in input is known as sensitivity. Sensitivity = Change in output/ Change in input 

ii)Resolution:- Resolution is defined as smallest increment in input (quantity being measured) which can be detected with certainty by an instrument . 

  OR 

The smallest change in a measured variable to which an instrument will respond is called resolution.
