i) Residential load: The electrical load which is used in residential installation is called as residential load. E.g. incandescent lamp, florescent tube, fan ,5A socket &15A socket etc. 


 ii) Industrial load: The electrical load which is used in industrial installation is called as a industrial load. E.g. 1-ph or 3-ph any type of motor, electric furnace ,oven,welding transformer and any power load etc.
