Input Devices of PLC: i) Selector switches ii) Push buttons iii) Binary encoders iv) Mechanical/magnetic Limit switches v) Inductive/ capacitive/optical proximity switches vi) Analog transducers/transmitters like flow / level / pressure / temperature / humidity / speed etc. 

Output Devices of PLC: i) Alarms/Annunciators ii) Buzzers iii) Relays/contactors iv) Indicators/Lamps v) Solenoids vi) Continuous/ discrete valves vii)Analog/digital indicators/recorders etc.
