Practically Sq. Cage Ind. Motor could not able to achieve synchronous speed. If so it happens then Ns=N; and s=0; And hence T=0; So, Sq. Cadge Ind. Motor could not run at synchronous speed.

S=(nr-ns)/ns

If s(slip) is equal to 1, means rotor will not move, that's happen when motor is not running.

Since there is always slip present in rotor it cannot run at synchronous speed no current will be developed hence no torque will developed
