Electrochemical equivalent: Electrochemical equivalent of an electrolyte is defined as the amount of substance deposited or liberated at an electrode by passing 1 ampere current for one second. 

OR 

Electrochemical equivalent of an electrolyte is defined as the amount of substance deposited or liberated at an electrode by passing 1 coulomb of electricity through an electrolyte solution.
